AmeriCorps VISTA requires you to attend two 90 minute webinars. Information about attending the webinars will be sent to you approximately two weeks before your first day of service.

1. Countdown to VISTA Service: This webinar highlights what to do before service, what to do on the first day of service, relocation, the criminal history check process, and provides an opportunity to ask questions.

2. Launching Your VISTA Service: This webinar highlights the VISTA Program’s mission, discusses the VISTA Assignment Description (VAD), describes where to find resources and support, and officially swears you into VISTA service. There will also be a time to ask questions. This webinar occurs at 3:00 pm ET on your first day of VISTA service.

After attending the “Launching Your VISTA Service” webinar, you will be instructed to sign the oath form by midnight on your first day of service. Log into the My AmeriCorps Portal at https://my.americorps.gov/mp/login.do and select “VISTA Oath of Service” from the left-hand menu.
