Up2Us VISTA seeks enthusiastic candidates committed to giving back and growing the sports-based youth development field. 

Full-Year VISTA Program

Do you want to help sports-based youth development organizations build up and strengthen communities? Through a partnership between Up2Us Sports and AmeriCorps VISTA, you will have the opportunity to serve a one-year service term at various organizations located across the United States. As an Up2Us VISTA, you will support programs in the following capacity-building areas:

  • Program implementation

  • Marketing and social media

  • Volunteer recruitment

  • Emergency funding

  • Community outreach 

Program Dates:

  • Starting in October 2022

Eligibility:

  • 18 years old or older

  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Benefits:

  • Living allowance

  • Choice of education award ($6,495) or end-of-service stipend ($1,800)

  • Health care

  • Non-competitive eligibility

  • Professional development and networking opportunities

  • Relocation travel allowance
