All AmeriCorps VISTA members are required to undergo a background investigation. AmeriCorps VISTA will be conducting online background checks at no cost to the member. You will receive an email from support@checkr.com with instructions on how to securely submit the required information for the background check for AmeriCorps VISTA service. The emailed instructions will be sent 1-2 weeks prior to the start of service. You must complete the online background check information immediately, or no later than 3 calendar days from receiving the email. If you have any questions, please contact VISTAfingerprint@cns.gov.
