You are eligible for relocation assistance if you signed up for at least a 12 month service term and are relocating more than 50 miles from your home of record (permanent address). If you need relocation assistance, please inform your VISTA sponsor as soon as possible. The VISTA Member Support Unit (VMSU) will calculate your Relocation Travel Allowance and inform you by email of the amount of assistance you will receive, usually no later than one week prior to your service start date. Relocation assistance consists of a Relocation Travel Allowance and a Settling-In Allowance of $750.
